Researching breast augmentation prior to having surgery can be overwhelming. Your consultation with Dr. Yee is a significant step in the decision-making process. Together, you and your surgeon will discuss the look you desire and the optimal way to achieve the best results.

During your consultation, the doctor will take the time to discuss your goals. They will review the options available to you when considering breast augmentation. Those choices include size, the incision location, the position of the implant and the type. We offer both silicone and saline implants. Dr. Yee will offer her expertise to help guide your decision.

Breast augmentation surgery is done using general anesthesia on an outpatient basis at the surgical suite.

‍Recovery

Breast augmentation surgery is a safe procedure when performed by experienced, board-certified surgeons. It is important, however, to follow the post-operative instructions you’ll receive to enhance your recovery. You should be able to walk under your own power before leaving the facility.

It is normal to feel pain and tightness in your chest for 2 to 5 days after surgery. Every patient tolerates pain differently, and your care team will ensure your comfort during recovery. Many patients return to work about a week after surgery, although strenuous physical activity should be avoided for several weeks. It is also important to get up and move around throughout the recovery period.
